1. WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
At Lash & Co. we use premium quality faux mink (100% silk ) eyelashes which come in a variety of lengths, thicknesses and degrees of curl. They will give you a darker, fuller lash line without the need for mascara. They feel weightless - you won't even notice you are wearing them! When getting eyelash extensions, it is of utmost importance that professional lash technicians adhere one extension to one natural lash. We apply them individually 1-1, as our local competition are attaching 1 false lash to every 3-5 of your own. The reason why we do not do this is because it leaves our client’s looking like they have less lashes then they started with, and it can also cause natural lashes to fall out, and irritation, which may lead to infection. Our current client’s who have experienced this from other technicians, felt agitation (i.e. itchiness, swelling of the eye, more lash loss than normal), as the procedure was not being done properly. Lash & Co makes sure that it is done correctly from the start.
2. WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
The application process is very relaxing. You are lying down on a massage table with a plush blanket and pillow with your eyes closed during the entire process. Most clients end up falling asleep! Each Lash Extensions is glued on one of your natural lashes one at a time with medical grade adhesive. When your natural lash sheds, the extension will fall out with that lash. You can expect your initial eyelash extension application to take around two hours. This time allows you to rest and be pampered as your stylist transforms your lashes to the customized lash look you have selected.
3. HOW DO I MAINTAIN?
To maintain a full appearance, it is recommended to get a refill every 2-3.5 weeks and take approximately 45 - 60 minutes.
4. WILL THEY CAUSE DAMAGE?
The application of eyelash extensions, when applied properly by a trained professional, will not cause hair loss, nor will it cause eyelashes to fall out. Your natural eyelashes have a shedding cycle of 3-5 weeks, this is when you should see any lash fallout. Do not go to anyone who isn't certified/ trained or doesn’t know what they are doing. If they are not applied correctly you could damage your natural lashes, waste your money and subject yourself to an eye infection.
5. WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
At Lash & Co we accept: Cash and e-transfer at this time.
6. HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
We ask that all clients have all eye makeup removed (mascara, eyeliner, etc) prior to coming to their appointment. Any time spent having to remove makeup or other product will be deducted from the appointment time.
